What a Discovery Call with Gritty Dove Looks Like

If you’ve ever hesitated to reach out because you weren’t sure what would happen next, we get it. No one wants to be hard-sold or handed a generic deck that doesn’t reflect their needs.

Here’s what actually happens when you hop on a discovery call with Gritty Dove.

1. We Ask Real Questions

We want to understand what’s driving this need:

  • What’s going on in your business right now?

  • Who’s your audience, and what do they care about?

  • What’s worked (or hasn’t) in past content efforts?

  • What’s the internal buy-in or pressure?

  • Do you already have a creative direction or are you starting from scratch?

These aren’t checkbox questions, they’re a conversation. We listen for themes, pain points, opportunities, and tone.

2. We Don’t Pitch

There’s no pre-built proposal waiting in the wings. This isn’t a presentation, it’s a session to figure out if we’re the right fit for you, and if you’re the right fit for us.

If we feel aligned, we’ll let you know the next step. If we’re not, we’re happy to refer you to someone who might be a better match.

3. We Talk Timeline and Process

If things are flowing, we’ll give you a sense of how we’d structure the project:

  • What pre-production looks like

  • What kind of deliverables make sense

  • Ballpark timeline

  • General budget range (if appropriate)

4. We Leave Space

You won’t get a follow-up email 30 minutes later asking “Are you ready to move forward?” We know that decision-making takes time. Our job is to offer clarity, not pressure.

The Takeaway: You don’t need a perfect brief or creative vision to start a conversation. A discovery call is just that... discovery.

We show up curious, prepared, and ready to help you figure out what’s possible.
